    • First part of the class: from 05.30 to 06.40 pm.

  • End of the course: 28 June (2nd partial exam check).

ASSESSMENT
  • Evaluation: The final grade is the average of the two exams.
    • 1st partial exam (Files 1-3): 19 and 21 April.
    • 2nd partial exam (Files 4-6): 21 and 23 June.
  • Assessment of 5 skills:
    • Reading (20%)
    • Writing (20%)
    • Use of English (20%)
    • Listening (20%)
    • Speaking (20%)
  • Passing grade: 80 points and 80% of attendance (=20 sessions; 05 absences maximum).
    • 5 consecutive absences cause dropout.
CLASS RULES
    • You cannot be in class without your material (your Student's Book).
    • Punctuality and use of English in class is really important!
    • If you are late, you cannot join an activity in progress.
    • You cannot use your mobile phone, iPhone, iPad, etc. unless the teacher asks you to use it for a particular activity; please, put it away and turn it off or put it on mute.
OTHER ASPECTS
  • bilingual dictionary is recommended.
  • The use of the Workbook is mainly at home. Be ready for its revisions.
    • Assessment: Completion and accuracy.

EVALUACIÓN
  • Evaluación de 5 habilidades:
    • Comprensión escrita (20%)

    • Comprensión auditiva (20%)
    • Expresión oral (20%)
  • Calificación mínima aprobatoria: 80 puntos, junto con 80% de asistencia (=20 sesiones de clase; se permite un máximo de 5 faltas en todo el semestre, pero 5 faltas consecutivas causan baja)
REGLAS DE CLASE
    • No se permite tomar la clase sin material.
    • La puntualidad y el uso del inglés en clase es realmente importante.
    • Si llegas tarde, no se te permitirá unirte a actividades que ya estén en progreso.
    • No se permite el uso de celulares, iPhones, iPads, etc., a menos que el profesor señale su uso para alguna actividad en particular. Favor de guardarlo y apagarlo o silenciarlo.
OTROS ASPECTOS
  • Se recomienda el uso de un diccionario bilingüe tanto para la clase como para las tareas que se realicen en casa.
  • El uso del libro de trabajo (Workbook) será mayormente para tarea en casa. Ten presentes las entregas del libro de trabajo unidad por unidad, la profesora revisará tu progreso y le dará su Vo. Bo. en términos de un trabajo completo y sensiblemente bien contestado.
